Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 6, 2026
This is a personal portfolio website. I respect your privacy and want to be clear about what data is collected, by whom, and why.
1. Data I Collect Directly
I do not collect, store, or process any personal data from visitors of this site. The portfolio is a static site that displays public information about my work, skills, and experience. There are no contact forms, comment systems, analytics dashboards running in the background, or user accounts that you can create.
2. Third-Party Services
To deliver the site, a small number of third-party services are used. They may process limited technical data (such as your IP address and browser User-Agent) as part of normal operation:
- GitHub Pages — hosts the static site. GitHub may log request metadata. See GitHub's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare (Fastly CDN) — the GitHub Pages delivery network. May log request metadata for performance and security. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — the site loads web fonts from Google's CDN. Google may receive your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
- Firebase / Google Cloud — the admin panel uses Firebase Authentication (Google sign-in) and Firestore. This only runs on the admin page (
secure-admin.html), and only the three allowlisted Gmail accounts in the Firestore rules can read or write portfolio data. The public portfolio page does not call Firebase. - Cloudinary — stores images and videos shown on the portfolio. Loads assets only; no visitor data is sent to Cloudinary by this site.
3. Cookies
This site does not set any cookies. The admin page uses Firebase Authentication, which may set a small session cookie in your browser only after you explicitly sign in with Google. It is not used for tracking.
4. Analytics
The site does not run any analytics. The admin panel has an optional field for a Google Analytics ID, but it is empty by default and only takes effect if the site owner enables it.
5. Your Rights
Since no personal data is collected, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have signed in to the admin panel in the past, you can revoke the session at any time from your Google account's "Third-party apps with account access" page.
6. Contact
For privacy questions or concerns, contact sidharthkr1859@gmail.com.
7. Changes to This Policy
If I make material changes, the "Last updated" date above will change. The latest version is always the one published on this page.
